Mother Africa & Her Talents LLC announces the kick-off to the 3rd annual red carpet Mother Africa & Her Talents Show, one that is expected to give an African Fashion statement. This event will take place at the Hampton Conference Ctr on June 9, 2012 at 8pm coordinated by event coordinating company Shenge General Consulting Services. Mother Africa & Her Talents is about bringing more awareness of the beauty and sophistication of African style and culture, to proudly show a positive side of Africa through Fashion, Music, Art, and Dance. This year MA will be raising funds for Save The Nation, a 501c3 registered non profit towards their sponsor-A-child project helping keep more children in school with the provision of scholarships.

The 2012 line-up includes four fashion showcase exhibition by African designers:
UCHE IBEZUE(O’mak Designs), JEANNE UZE( Jeaniks Designs), SERAY GRANDE( Vana Designs), OLATIDE ADENIYI(Editalo Designs ). Live musical performances by: Bizo the Mayor (Sierra Leone), Nubian Mady (Senegal), Papa Tee (Sierra Leone) , Prince Dia(Senegal), Giileh(Sierra Leone) and Janet(Sierra Leone). Dance performance by Omoge Dancers(the biggest African dance group from the DC Metropolitans area).
This year’s team is a unique breed of women set to showcase Africa’s culture at its best. Fatmata Koroma – Founder of Mother Africa & Her Talents Giileh Scholz – Gospel Singer, & CEO of Shenge Consulting Fatima Koroma – Celebrity Health Talk Show Host and Health Specialist Seray Grande – Professional Fashion Designer and CEO of Vana’s Designs Lucy Nahim – Director Children Empowerment Foundation.
